Victor Vance

Victor Vance

A 28 year-old US marine, Victor made his first appearance in the GTA series at the beginning of GTA: Vice City. There was a deal going down by the docks, and the Vance brothers were one of the parties involved. However, the deal was ambushed by Ricardo Diaz, and Victor failed to make it out alive.

"I'm a long way from being a good guy."

In GTA: Vice City, it is implied that Lance does not always get on too well with his brother. Lance said that Victor would "patronize" him and "treat him like a little kid". Victor is head of the Vance Crime Family, which consists of only two members - him and his brother. Victor is said to be in peak physical condition.

Lance Vance

Also known as Mr. Lance Vance Dance, the backstabber. Lance was an important figure in GTA: Vice City - his brother was iced during a drug deal and Lance became hungry for revenge. Lance is a member of the Vance Crime Family, though it has only two members - him and his brother, Victor.

Lance is said to be emotionally insecure, and is believed to get aggressive or needy when he drinks. He has struggled for power since arriving in Vice City, and thinks that Victor treats him like a child.

Ricardo Diaz is small, extremely overweight and has a bad temper - but he's a man with considerable power and influence in Vice City.

Diaz - constantly armed - has been involved in a long running battle for control of the narcotics business in Vice City. He will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Diaz owns the mansion at Starfish Island and is feared by the majority in Vice City. He was killed and betrayed by Tommy Vercetti during the mission "Rub Out" in GTA: Vice City.

Umberto is a man with biiiig cojones! Or at least that's what he thinks - in actual fact he's a bit of a coward - which is why in GTA: Vice City he hires Tommy Vercetti to do most of the dirty work for him.

Umberto is a Cuban Warlord with a passion of hate for the Haitians. Both sides have been battling for turf for quite some time now. In GTA: Vice City, Umberto operates the Café Robina in Little Havana with his father, Alberto.

Mitch Baker is a vietnam veteran - jailed on thirteen ocassions. Mitch is pissed off at the treatment of veterans, and this has led to a series of violent clashes with authority.

He led the biker gang in GTA: Vice City, and was found playing snooker at "The Greasy Chopper" bar in downtown Vice City. In GTA: Vice City, Mitch gives you three mission to complete before providing services as security for the Love Fist concert: "Alloy Wheels of Steel", "Messing With The Man", and "Hog Tied".

A gun enthusiast, Phil claims to have served in various divsions although Army records show he was repeatedly rejected for service because of drunkenness and an unsuitable temperament for combat. In GTA: Vice City, his drink problem eventually resulted in his left arm being blown off.
